Since our recent partnership with HÔM Sotheby’s Realty I have a newfound appreciation for the intuitive finesse that comes with matching a buyer to a corresponding residence that bears all the bells and whistles on their dream list. Currently, we’re working with a client whose astute eye for contemporary design and modern art has us in search of a spectacular testament to brilliant design in Laguna Beach, California. My days of late have comprised of reviewing structures (and their construction), weighing the balance of earthy materials precisely juxtaposed against industrial-cool concrete and ensuring all the brilliant little details—like having the laundry by the bedroom—are included in this special vacation home. Naturally, I thought it only appropriate to take advantage of this design inspiration by delving into my own creative outlet: Stefanie Phan Fine Jewelry.

Inspired by the organic architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright and of an otherworldly ancient opulence (think Egyptian queens and African tribal leaders), Stefanie Phan’s debut collection of Rosewood and gold rings are architectural structures in their own right. Each limited edition unisex ring is hand carved, one-of-a-kind and feature a signature 24-karat gold interior ring. I can’t wait to share the final product with you! Until then, here are some images from my collection’s mood board and a few photos of the raw rings in the making. Let me know what you think!

Love,

LH

“I like to think of good design as the perfect date: Stunning looks and brains, too. There is an abundance of pretty in the world, but to be intelligent and functional in everyday living—that is brilliant design.”
